8/10 Good
"The room was well appointed clean and tidy. Location on the ground floor was fine. Had dinner in the restaurant however this was very mediocre. Did not have the starters or beer we wanted to order. So stuck to the pie and mash. The pie was fine the frozen veg did not taste of anything and the gravy on the side was very watery. So overall not worth the cost. The bed was nice and comfy. Water in the shower in the morning was cold for ages, almost gave up it took so long to warm up. I would stay again but not eat there."

For a memorable experience, consider a stay of at least 2 to 3 days to explore the town's rich heritage, including its renowned landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions such as golf clubs, charming bars, and delightful coffee spots. This affordable visit offers great value for money, with plenty of budget-friendly options to suit every traveller's needs.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For Ascot, you may discover great opportunities by visiting Hotels.com's DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section to explore discounted hotel options near your travel date. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications to receive updates on flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed decisions should rooms become available or prices drop.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in an Ascot hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and potentially greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could help you uncover a more affordable option.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Ascot's excellent public transport options, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
