The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate me during the short stay and provided guidance for the continuation of my trip. My room was exceptionally clean everyday and the price was awesome! There’s also a convenience store on the property that made it so easy to get snacks and small items when I didn’t feel like going into the town. I have recommended this property to my colleagues and will stay here again when I return to Beijing! Xeixei

I dont understand all the negative reviews about this place, despite being really stressed and having no help from airport staff etc. The staff at Golden Phoenix made our whole layover as comfortable as possible while assisting with things way out of their range just to make sure we were looked after. book this place

The staff were excellent, but unfortunately the property is seriously outdated. We were shown a number of rooms that were suffering from damp and mould, so we got a refund and decided to stay at another hotel. The hotel did there best to try and remedy the problem, but with a family of 5 in tow, with 3 young children, I decided that elsewhere would be best.

Breakfast is good, we are looking for other fruits like banana. Coffee is 3-in-1 mixed in a cup already (coffee+cream+sugar) when machine is pressed. Some bread are not sweet enough. Washing machine is not used due to no (tumble) dryer available. They do clean the room everyday.

This is an adequate mid/low-priced accommodation that is showing its age yet is very clean. Pros: - able to check in at any time (I checked in at 8:30am) - well furnished room. My king bed room had a fridge, freezer, washing machine, bathtub, kettle, hairdryer, cupboard, desk. Soap, shampoo, disposable toothbrushes and cups present. - Linen and towel very clean. - large breakfast buffet spread (Chinese cuisine) - child friendly - free shuttle to PEK on the hour. Cons: - pick up from airport only works if you call their Chinese number. Don't bother w contacting them through hotels.com. Take DiDi and claim it instead. - the Chinese name of the hotel is 丰荣酒店but on DiDi it can come up as 荣丰 so do check the address before confirming the destination - overall condition of the building is run down but serviceable with chipped doors, mildew smelling lobby, old grouting in the bathroom - the bed is solid... I loved it but may not be your cup of tea - doors are thin so you can hear people outside. I'm a heavy sleeper, no issues for me. - did not notice any amenities around the area Overall I would recommend this hotel for budget conscious travelers who are not fastidious and wish to stay near PEK.

The room was big with 3 good sized single beds, but it was very run-down. Air conditioning, as is the usual practice in some hotels in Beijing in Autumn, is not on and the window needs to be opened for ventilation and to cool down the room. Good points which suited us were: checkout at 2 pm, free breakfast and airport shuttle to and from the airport, on the hour.
