I liked the friendly staff and the amazing views of Lake Arenal from the dining area. The restaurant features 8 different artisanal beers that are brewed on the property. The pool is a decent size for swimming and the hot tub grotta felt very relaxing. The hotel also features fun games including pool billard etc. and other amenities. Overall a fun and relaxing experience.

The property is dated decoratively ,and room rates relatively expensive , although the views are spectacular. The team members we came across were very friendly. The draft beers were fine but quite expensive. Breakfast was a choice of four dishes , which were very nice , but there was no fruit on offer. The main problem for us was that we were two of only four people staying as it's out of season , so there was no atmosphere at all , and because it's isolated , there wasn't anywhere else to go.

This place is INCREDIBLE! The views were spectacular of lake arenal.. like wow!! The vibes in this hotel were EVERYTHING! There was live music, incredible food, amazing staff!! I would highly recommend this place!! It was stunning. Can’t wait until we can come back to Costa Rica to visit!
