Lovely hotel very helpful staff did need to use google translate on occasion but mostly easily understood. Big room by Japanese standards even had room for a couch. Also very handy to local train line or walking distance to JR line if you have a pass. Supermarket just a little further on down the street on the right.

Great little hotel , 5 minutes walk from Higashi-Yodogawa Train Station. on the north side of Osaka. Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, hair dryer, kettle , bathrobes/slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, tea bags, fridge. Stayed here last week May 2019, . The staff were so helpful, polite and courteous ( as we found with all Japanese people). Very happy with our stay and great value for money.

It was a very pleasant hotel. The room was a bit small but bigger than you would get in a lot of hotels. We were confused about the drinking water and had bought two big bottles as we were told there was no free drinking water, but then we ended up with free water when our room was cleaned, so we had lots! Fairly convenient for the train station as well.

A bit far from Shin-Osaka station by walking (around 1km). However, you can take subway or JR train to a closer station which is about 300m or 500m away. Staff is friendly. Especially the old lady working in the restaurant which serve breakfast in the morning.

The hotel room was pretty spacious, but the bed was a little on the small side. The area around the hotel is catered more towards locals, and were closed even on a Sunday evening. The hotel staff also did not speak much English and were unable to help us with luggage forwarding services. The lobby is also pretty small, with only one lift. This caused a bit of a congestion when a big tour group checked in at the same time. The shinkansen station is about 1km away but it was easier for us to take the metro one stop down. We were also there when an earthquake hit Osaka on our last day in the morning. There was no communication about what to do from the staff, which caused confusion amongst the guests. We also had to carry our luggage down when the lift was shut down as a result. While the natural disaster was, obviously, no fault of the hotel's, the lack of assistance and communication for guests was rather disappointing. Overall, the hotel is suitable for a short getaway, but not really recommended for trips that involve young children.

Travelers Beware!
Travelers beware! booked 2 triple rooms for 9 nights. 4/05/19 to 4/14/19. but in my booking it only showed 2 persons/room which was supposed to be 3 persons per room. We were charged 50% extra of the room rate for that additional person. It took more than 30 minutes to check us in. At check out, we requested a daily summary of charges, after 15 minutes of figuring out , they can only produce a small paper showing the total charges. we just walk away because we have a train and airplaine to catch. We were charged for a one (1) lost key card to equivalent of $108.00 (which we were told at check in). Very hard to reason out due to language barrier. The Hotel state near shin osaka station. not really. you need to take one subway stop. too far to walk to the station. there was only one (1) small microwave and Washing machine & dryer for the entire hotel. Place was clean and courteous staff. will never go back again.

The hotel itself was fine; but we were extremely disappointed by the man who checked us in that evening. We asked about a portable Wi-Fi device that was to be sent to the hotel for us, and he said it had not arrived. We insisted that he look again, but he returned to say it was not there (it was). In the morning this same man wanted to refuse our last-minute request for breakfast that had already been prepared by the obliging dining room staff. A nice woman who served us was able to get him to make an exception. Then we asked two young women who were working at the desk to check for the Wi-Fi. Again they said it was not there, and didn't seem to understand our request, although another guest showed them his portable Wi-Fi device to help out. The Wi-Fi rental company had to send us another device to Kyoto, and we lost 3 of 14 days' service.

Nice Quaint Hotel with Good Service
Enjoyed the 3 nights stay with some friends in 2 triple rooms. We felt a bit squeezy with 3 adults and 3 big luggages but the sleep was good. Good shower room with a small bath tub which is separated from the toilet. Very conveniently located near the subway station and several small eateries, Lawson and minimarket.

Overall very nice. A spacious and well-equipped room. A great location too, very accessible by train and within walking distance of many stores and restaurants One thing that was a bit annoying - I had booked a room with a balcony, but it turns out you weren't allowed to open the door and walk onto the balcony. I also had some issues getting my room cleaned - they just skipped it one day, and then said "You left your room after 11 so it was too late" despite the fact that I left my room around 9:30 However these were relatively minor issues that didn't detract much from the overall experience
