The staff was attentive, and maintenance/cleaning was ongoing and evident as the grounds are immaculate. Suite 8 was incredibly spacious, and the outdoor garden patio with jacuzzi was lovely. "I've been travelling in hostals since 35 years. I have never seen so dirty rooms. The place is great, but I felt really not comfortable, and I moved out from hostal as soon as I was able to do.
The patio is great, the peole nice, but the rooms have to be redone totally. It's definitly awfull. And I'm not talking about the bathrooms."

"This property is beautiful but be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. My room was #6 and it takes about 10 minutes of climbing. Also, the property has no backup generator. There was no power during my 1st and 6th day. The showers were great though even if they are just solar powered. I stayed during the rainy season and the water still gets very hot. The dining options are limited so be prepared for that. The views from Santa Cruz are beautiful though that's why I prefer to stay in this town."
