"Highly recommend, the hot spring is the best. They don’t use recycle water. Perfect view in the area. I will definitely come back again to Kagoshima area just for this hotel. "

"I booked, looking for a place to staycafter getting off the ferryvfrom Okinawa. When I arrived I realized this wasnt just a place to sleep. It's the city's "grand hotel".
Set in gorgeous grounds, with more trails nearby in the mountain forest, it offers a large breakfast buffet and a huge onsen with indoor and outdoor pools - all of them with spectacular views over the city and volcano."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Kagoshima Sheraton. The room was spacious with a big, comfy bed, and the bathroom had all the beauty products you could need. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety.
The Club Lounge was a lovely touch, though you need to book in advance and are limited to 70 minutes. The onsen was a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxation.

"Shockingly dirty floor, furniture, walls.
Needed to go down to the front to buy simple things like bottled water and soaps. Their dirty coin laundry didn't have soaps!!

"Friendly staff, near the central station, good restaurants nearby. Only downsides: no evelator and the cooler on your room is very loud, which makes it hard to sleep"

"Good base for exploring area. Rooms are huge with great views. Kaseki dining in-room was excellent. Large indoor and small outdoor onsen provided variety. Helpful staff given we were probably the only non-Japanese staying there."

"the onsen was seriously the highlight of the trip, and the staff was extremely helpful in helping me when I left something in my previous hotel, even though they didn't have to. The buffet breakfast and dinner was huge and the beds were really comfortable. I drove here so no idea on public transportation but parking was easy and I highly recommend!"

"The hotel is so big and has a large indoor and outdoor onsen plus sand steamed bath. It is quite entertaining. It is located right in front of the sea and the view is spectacular. It is very remote and quiet area so nice place to relax."

"We had a fantastic stay here with our two year old and four month old. The baths were great and also had a sauna and cold pool, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were superb and there was a menu in English. Our host Sarina was wonderful. The hot sand onsen is a short walk from the hotel and was very easy to get to. We loved the small touches for the children with the kids’ yukata robe and Anpanman slippers and the manager brought our car right to the...

The pillows are a bit uncomfortable and the store doesn’t really have any heatable food. We had to walk to the nearest convenience store which was about a 10 minute walk."
