Hotel is pretty much what we expected. This hotel gives you all of the European charm you could want! The rooms are small, that's the way they built them so many years ago. What we originally thought was a closet turned out to be the bathroom. We are not small people, just normal for older american people, but we made everything work and we had a great time. We want the European feel and definitely got it. The hotel is clean, staff is alway pleasant and helpful, the included breakfast was really good, always the same, but the variety made it easy to enjoy something different all the time. The elevator is small but it's there and it works for 2-3 people at a time.

Great location! Close to metro and walkable to multiple lines, and to L’Arc de Triomphe. Would stay here again for sure. The rooms were super cute and clean. The staff was helpful. We really really loved it!

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and pretty. The service was overall very good. Location was central and attractions were very easy to get to from the hotel. Bin men came every morning which was a little loud but didn’t take away from the overall experience.

I love the location of this hotel! It's about a 10 to 15 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower! It's close to the metro station and there are lots of places to eat in the area. This is my second time staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again when I visit Paris.

The decor is so beautiful. My room was cleaned daily. The staff was really friendly. About a 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. There’s plenty of restaurants near by and a grocery store right down the street. I had a very pleasant stay, and will choose this hotel again in the future.

Central position and friendly staff

The best part was undoubtly the central position of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and provided a great service. The room was very small, and even though we had been made aware beforehand, it was surprising how small it was. Taken into account that we only stayed in the room to sleep and get ready in the morning, it was not a big issue. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Pastel and will highly recommend it as a central, but affordable accommodation in Paris.

The room was terribly small. The carpet is so old that it has an odor. Had to sleep with the window open each night. The tub does not have a shower curtain so the water leaked on the floor so bad that you have to use your bath towel to dry. The towels were so old, dinghy and thin. Would not stay there again
