Outside, the terrace tables seem to be integrated into the surrounding landscape and the restaurant gardens. Inside, the dining room is decorated in the traditional local style. To sit at a table here is to enjoy the superbly presented fusion of traditional cuisine and international influences with all your senses. Furthermore, the service and customer care is impeccable. D'romería
A traditional restaurant in the centre of town

Restaurante D'romería is located in a quiet plaza with views of the mountains in the centre of San Bartolomé. The establishment has a nicely designed dining room inside and a pleasant open-air terrace. The speciality of the house is the paletilla de cordero al horno (roast shoulder of lamb), which of course comes highly recommended. However, other traditional Canary Islands cuisine is equally good, such as the garbanzas (chickpeas), the octopus, the typical papas arrugás (island-style small boiled potatoes), the salpicón (seafood salad) and the gofio escaldado, a hearty stew that features hand-rolled balls of ground roasted grains. This restaurant is highly recommended if you are visiting the island interior.
