Great Choice
We chose this hotel for its proximity to a wedding celebration, and it was the perfect location. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. A lovely hotel really well located. The only issue I had was with noise from construction, but we were warned. The room was tastefully renovated, the amenities were lovely (pour over coffee setup in the room). Staff were friendly.

Great rooms, great location
Rooms were awesome! 2 queens with stylish furnishings and comfortable linens. 2 conversation chairs were a nice touch. We stayed for one night. We were aware the lobby was under construction and were expecting worse to be honest but luckily the staff has it down and we couldn't have had a lovelier one-night stay. I would consider staying for longer next time. Location can't be beat for exploring downtown Santa Barbara and walking to the fun restaurants and shops.

Cozy historical hotel
Excellent services all around from the momemt we drove into the valet lot until our check out. All rooms are newly renovated and lobby is still being worked on. Looking forward to seeimg their transformation next time. Will definitely return.

Relaxing Stay
Had a lovely stay at this property. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is under renovation, and has an alternate entrance. Due to this guests must walk around the back side of the building in order to access the elevator. We ended up getting a lot of exercise up and down the stairs to the forth floor. Our room was newly redone, and was very clean and comfortable. There was some noise issues, both from inside and outside the hotel. A dog barking in the next room and loud car stereos on the street, for example. Overall 5 stars - Great staff and comfortable room. Would return to the Santa Barbara

The Best!
The loveliest hotel in a great location with stellar customer service. We were highly impressed by the friendliness at check-in, the above and beyond service by the valet (who gave us two fabulous restaurant recommendations), and the room… it was gorgeous, obviously new, and clean! The mattress has me wanting to buy one for our home. It was truly that comfortable. Not to mention this hotel was incredibly dog friendly. 10/10 highly recommend.

Great Stay, but Difficult to Talk to a Real Person
I was perfect. Staff and employees were exemplary. The reason I gave a low rating for service is that it was impossible to contact the front desk after I returned home to request a receipt. AI or phone tree hell. I gave up. I recommend always provide an easy way to speak to a real person.

A nice getaway from LA.
Really enjoyed the staff, from valet Cruz and the front counter, each person was helpful and personable. The room was very fresh, great price, however it never reached 72 degrees, which was a bit of a downer. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was efficient and very clean. We were close to everything we wanted to see or dine on this Thanksgiving getaway. We will be back.
