We stayed in a spacious Queen Suite overlooking the pool with a partial view of the Ocean. Overall, the property was well maintained & the staff was really friendly. Disappointments; there has been major erosion at the resort so the Beach can only be enjoyed at Low Tide. We were fine with it but it needs to be mentioned if one goes to the resort for "beach only" activities. The condition of the room was a little worse for wear. Carpet, sofa, & chairs were stained with ketchup & chocolate. You can tell that a family with small children stayed in our room as there were food stained handprints on the interior & exterior of the doors of the bathroom & bedroom. The room needed to be inspected by the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager before it was placed back in inventory. Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly either. There was mildew & mold on the lower shower walls, the edges of shower pan, the bottom of sliding glass door, & the outer base of the free standing shower. Instead of making a scene at the front desk as two other families complained about the condition of their rooms, I opted to have Housekeeping to just clean the room thoroughly (which they did). Unfortunately as days pass, mildew & mold kept building up & though a simple beach cleanser would have worked wonders, the real issue was that the exhaust vent was not working in the bathroom. Please invest in Express Check-out software that allows the guest to check-out in their room via the television.
