"Staff were excellent, courteous, and generally cared about you !! Rooms were clean, beds were “OK” not terrible I’ve slept on worse !! It’s just a rule of thumb, never expect a hotel bed to be the same as yours at home 👍 The biggest amenity this hotel has to offer and was such a life saver for us was they serve breakfast every morning 😊 That was awesome and it was good food and you had different things to choose from every morning!! NOW, the difference between BW Historical Inn from BW Bay Front Inn is location !! Bay Front Inn is in the “Heart” of all the action !! You don’t have to worry about paying additional parking every time you want to go somewhere, everything is in walking distance !! Bay Front Inn doesn’t offer that awesome breakfast every morning like the Historic Inn does BUT the Historic Inn is only in walking distance to the Oldest Jail & the Fountain of Youth, you want to go anywheres else you’re going to have to drive and pay for additional parking !! SO, both BW Hotels in the Historic District of St. Augustine are great one offers a convenience the other doesn’t, it will be up to you to decide what you’re willing to give up 👍 For my Wife and I, not having to worry about driving and paying to park all the time is everything!! Yes, you can take the Trolly but we don’t like to be on a time schedule, Bay Front Inn is in walking distance to everything, you don’t like using public restrooms ?? just walk back to your hotel, Convince is Everything !! "
