Village Hotel Bristol
"I really enjoyed my stay here for a work trip, appreciated the sauna, jacuzzi, mist room, shame the pool side hot tub wasn't working, maybe next time? My only recommendation would be to have a swimming costume machine to dry out your bathers, so that you don't have to go to work with wet clothes all day in a suitcase for those that have travelled and can't go home immediately."
Hotel Indigo Gloucester The Forum By IHG
"The hotel was nice and in a good location close to station. The breakfast was a bit of a let down."
Mollie's Bristol
"Mollies is a super luxe and boujee hotel with a cool diner attached. The room was huge and well laid out and everywhere smells amazing. I love the Cowshed toiletries and Dyson hairdryer in the room. There are loads of plug sockets and USB sockets right by the bed. I love the free coffee in the lobby. The only down side was that I was staying for work and couldn’t get a VAT receipt."
Wild Thyme & Honey
"The most amazing night away, everything was perfect! The cocktails, our room, the bath, how dog friendly it is. The perfect night away"
The Oakwood Hotel
"Great all round experience. Staff so helpful and accommodating."
Holiday Inn Express Gloucester - South by IHG
"Everything was great about this hotel - clean, good sized room, good breakfast (no cheap sausages or bacon lol) and really good price, but our shower was rubbish. However, it did dribble enough water to be able to wash and as we were only staying one night, we didn't report it to anyone. However, I have no doubt that if we were staying longer and had reported it, it would have been resolved."
The Thatch Inn
"We were a family of 5 and the room was large enough for all of us including our many luggages. It was neat and tidy and the xtra large bed was very comfy. It is self check in/out. The room had simple amenities. Coffee, tea and kettle, shampoo and body wash. Bottle of water would be a great bonus. Good wifi and Netflix avail. The rooms are connected to the main restaurant bar. Breakfast was included which was the highlight of our stay. Good spread: juice, fruits, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, nice bread for toast and a buttery soft croissants with jams, butter and nutella *kids were excited. Filtered coffee and tea. Warm breakkie avail for order. Google maps took us to the back of the hotel so check the direction. Surrounded by nearby supermarkets and takeaways, thu the restaurant has a good menu. Overall, a very warm hospitality and a restful one night stay."
Holiday Inn Gloucester-Cheltenham by IHG
"Very clean hotel. All good. Lovely choice at breakfast. Would have liked times of meals to be displayed in the room."
Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa
"An excellent stay, are retirning next month."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the city's key landmarks, historical attractions and cultural sites. Visitors on a budget will appreciate great value for money while exploring attractions such as the cathedral, museums and historical sites, as well as enjoying family-friendly and budget-friendly experiences in a charming, countryside setting.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool, available via the app, is a comparison tool that helps travellers assess hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to spot opportunities for a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay at a Gloucester hotel. For travellers seeking something unique, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and occasionally offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels nearer to the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Gloucester's excellent public transport links, you may find an independent hotel further out that is still well connected and more likely to be affordable. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even nearby, lesser-known towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
