The Sanderling
"The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had a lovely stay."
Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk Outer Banks by IHG
"Easy parking, very clean, staff were awesome, the breakfast had variety and hot. It was first time in Kitty Hawk and we enjoyed the stay. They let us have tables for takeout food. Patrons were very respectful of property where family would eat dinner, and play games. Only issue we encountered is pool was mistreated by customers and it was not as clean due to their negligence. Hotel staff would have lots of cleanup in the pool as a result so we didn’t wish to use. It’s a great hotel and we will stay here again!"
Hilton Vacation Club Beachwoods Kitty Hawk
"Every thing was wondering. I didn’t get to the Splash Zone but I will the next time."
Sea Scape Beach and Golf Villas
"Neat clean and organized."
Barrier Island Station
"The place was nice. Easy beach access. Pools were nice. Everything was within walking distance. Only downside was the last 5 miles was back up for up to an hour."

Visitors can enjoy the stunning beaches, indulge in delicious seafood, experience surfing, take in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, engage in fishing, and explore the local aquarium. This duration allows for a great value for money while immersing oneself in the rich history and culture that Kitty Hawk has to offer.

By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special last-minute promotions. The Smart Shopping tool, available via the app, allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you secure a last-minute getaway should rooms become available or prices drop.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on elements such as the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so a degree of flexibility with your travel dates could help you save at a Kitty Hawk hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised service and potentially offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you secure a more appealing rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Kitty Hawk's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel a little further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
