Nice little hotel but some downside to it
Clean hotel close to la Seine Musicale, where I had to go. Very friendly hotel staff. The room was on on the second floor, clean and spacious, facing he street but the noise was ok. Only downside was that there is no heater in the bathroom so it gets pretty cold unless you crank up the room heater and leave the bathroom door open all night. Internet was not working but the hotel staff gave me another WiFi network (still not working from the room though) and offered me to stay in the breakfast area to do my work. The hotel is in a convenient location and clean, bonus point for the staff. All three members I’ve met where lovely.

We only stayed one night to be near the football match. The hotel was easy to find, within easy walking distance (3-5 minutes) of the metro, and near plenty of good restaurants. It was clean with a new bathroom, comfortable bed, and very nice breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and kind as they tried to answer any questions we had.

Terrible!!! Terrible!! Terrible!!
Get to hotel and the front desk guy is sleeping. Multi-lingual? False. The guy offered breakfast free when apparently we had to pay for it at checkout. The check out guy was rude. The staff was super rude and unavailable. A lady had an emergency in the middle of the night and no one was available and no emergency number either. She came to our room for help scared. The hotel is unattended. They are remodeling which is fine but then as I am washing my face with face soap the water shuts off. I can't see and try to get a towel to dry off my burning eyes. Get a cleaning girl to address water issue only to be told very rudely "just wait" in little English. A nice warning to guest that the water would be temporarily shut off would have been nice. The only good thing is the location and at the end of my stay one really nice front desk attendant helped me order pizza. The WIFI was super slow and worked only in the front desk area. Would not return or recommend this place.

An excellent choice
I stayed in Hotel de France in 4 nights. The hotel is very neet and clean and the people on the desk were very friendly. The room is cleaned every day. The bathroom is good and tidy as well. The only problem I had is the glass separated shower room is a bit small. Apart from that everything was fine for me. There are many restaurents nearby, if you want to have some food.
They allowed me to keep my luggage in the lobby even after I checked out. It is walkable distance to Parc de Princes stadium and the beautiful Albert Khan museum and gardens, one of the hidden gems in Paris. A really worth place to stay

Good for the price range.
We were greeted by a friendly hotel clerk who allowed us into our room early. We hadn't booked it ahead of time but one of the hotel parking spots was available so we we used that. Overall the hotel has seen better days but it was good for the price. The breakfast pastries were surprisingly good. Over all it was a solid place to crash for a night which is what we were looking for.

The hotel offers good value, especially for its location. Rooms and common area are small and sparely furnished. It is well heated and clean. Family operated and very congenial.

A great little hotel
Our first stay at this hotel and we will definitely use it again when in Paris. The owner and his family were very welcoming, helpful and ran an immaculately clean, small hotel which also provided a very satisfactory breakfast.
The surrounding area provided a range of restaurants covering a wide range of tastes - the Moroccan one next door was particularly good.
It is ideally located for public transport, Metro Line 9, which gives ready access either directly or via one or two changes to all of the main sites.
All in all, a great little hotel.

Best kept secret for Paris !
Best kept secret in town. Easy commute (metro) to center of PARIS.
Excellent and very affordable breakfast. Great price for Paris. Only problem could be the parking but there is (limited) parking facility with Hotel de France and plenty of parking space in the street (with parking fees except on Saturday and Sunday). Also the elevator is very slow. But at least it is modern and there's one to bring you and your luggage to your room...

Well....its just OK.
I chose the hotel because of its good reviews. However, I would not stay there again. Reasons: too basic for my choice. The bedroom was clean but carpets were very old. Shower and bathroom was clean and tidy. Avoid the staircase and use the lift as its a very steep spiral one. There is noise from the road at night...so NOT soundproof as claimed. Breakfast was very basic (orange juice, 2 croissants, I bread and butter with a pot of tea. If I was you, I would choose the IBIS or the Lagrange close by. I hope this helps.
