The people at the Yuu-Lee were very nice, but I did not spend a lot of time at the room, so I only saw them in passing. When I arrived, the girl bought me into the first floor restaurant/store and gave me a welcome shot of Mezcal (they sell Mezcal as well).
I was on the second floor, room had a small balcony over the side entrance; no views from the rooms. I did not like that there were no locks on the sliding doors to the balcony and no stick provided to act as a door jam to keep anyone from entering if they climbed up onto the balcony.
The bathroom/shower has hot water. Towels, soap and TP are provided.
There is a ceiling fan and a Wall A/C unit, but you need to ask for the remote control. There is no screen, so when you open the sliding door, bugs come in. I would have preferred to open the window and let in fresh air, but to avoid the bugs, instead I ran the A/C and ceiling fan. Toilet seat was not comfortable; it was a soft cushion seat that made it difficult to maneuver easily. I asked for bottled water and was given a tiny 100ml bottle.
The location is OK. It is a couple blocks off the main road There is a woman who sells empanadas on the corner near the Holiday Inn for 15 pesos each after 18:00. Definitely try these; very tasty!. Also visited a new cafe called Iacoco - short walk from the hotel, A decaf coffee (or chai lattte) and a breakfast burrito will cost approx 110 pesos. I don't know if the hotel serves food, but they serve Mezcal.
