"Hotel/room seemed to be updated. Location was so nice. Only thing I would say I didn’t like was the fact that you can hear the guests above you. Some nights I would hear footsteps really late while trying to sleep. Also not sure what would go on early in the mornings, I could hear loud banging of some sort. And if room is facing the front, just know you can hear everything going on. Staff was friendly,

"Had a 3 day stay in San Diego from January 19th to 21st, 2025 with the family. Check in was good and it was simple. Getting to the room was difficult because we didn't have the 'lay of the land' so to speak. Everyone of the employees were friendly and quite to answer questions and give directions if not sure where to go.

"Nice location with a waffle station. Only major complaint was the breakfast could have used some protein options, but still really good and well stocked.
The location was perfect, close to the Marine Bootcamp depot and near the airport. Also close to all touristy events, though not as "walkable" as advertised. It is 35 35-minute walk to the base main entrance."
