Valet, check in and bellman were all great! All were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom cleanliness could have been better. The bathroom floor was very dirty. The floor had lots of hair and debris, upon arrival, which did not belong to us. The mattress looked old and was uncomfortable. You can see where everyone sleeps because of the dips in the bed.

Times are Changing, No More Service
I have always stayed at The Downtown Grand, but these last 2 trips were not what I expected. The rooms are nice but cold. I asked for extra blankets and for the first request I had to cancel because it took over 1.5 hours and I was too tired to wait.. the second day I requested it was over an hour and I had to leave for dinner but thankfully when I returned my blankets and clean towels were there. This Hotel no longer offers daily room cleanings which for me is NOT ok.

Traveled with friends and our stay was great! The hotel is one block from Freemont St so it was more quiet than most hotels at night. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. We will return for our next Vegas trip!

Everything was amazing! The parking garage is not too far from the building. Only thing i could really complain about was the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise great place to crash in for a couple of days, plenty of food options around and right next to Fremont experience !

Great stay!
We went as a family for a football tournament we had three rooms all were clean and very nice. All the staff was real helpful we were walking distance to Freemont street which was a lot of fun. We will definitely stay there again. Are hotel maid was so sweet I can’t remember her name but she was helpful one room tv remote wouldn’t work she called down and had them put batteries in it she kept us in clean towels

My overall experience with the check-in staff and breakfast staff was amazing! Cleanliness of the rooms, not so much. For the nightly rate that is being charged, cleanliness should be a TOP priority and the rooms should be spotless. I would not recommend.

Dishonest Management
I feel obligated to share my experience mainly due to the fact management lied to me and no doubt many other customers. If you want to get any sleep this is Not the hotel for you. Hogs N Heffers is across the street and you can not only hear the music but you can feel the Bass while laying in you bed. Management Alicia and Alex, promised me Vip parking because is was disabled which they then charged me for. The parking garage is not only across the street, but the elevator is Broken also. I was unable to climb 5 stories to retrieve my car due to the pain in my leg. Management was not accomedating of my disability nor did they have any compassion. They promised a return of the booking fee and a $25 food voucher with I didn't receive. When I called to speak with the Management I left numerous messages with no returned phone calls.

I was mived into 4 different rooms during my stay. When i first checked in recieved a room that wasnt clean and smelled unsanitary. I proceeded back to the front desk where they issued me another room which seemed ok until i got settled for bed. At this time the room was well over 80 degrees sue to the heater not working properly. I attempted to call the front desk but the phone in my room continued to make busy signals no matter which department I tried to get a hold of. I then had to pack my bag and head back down to the front desk to notify them of my issue. I also inform them of their faulty phone system which they didn't seem much to care about. The only thing that they offered me was my Resort feedback. They issued me another room, which I stated please do not put me in an area that faces the street/night club since I'm here for business. They reassured me the room that they were giving me was on their quite side. Mind you this is now my third attempt at getting a room. I now get up to this room and lo and behold, it's facing the nightclub. I try to use the phone in that room to notify them to get me another room and that phone also didn't work. So here I go again down to the desk for the fourth time where they finally get me a room, don't offer me any refund, credits or try to correct the issue. All in all it was a bad night. By the time I got to bed it was after 1:00 a.m. and left me unbelievably tired for my day of business this morning. I stay in Vegas over 70 days

Low quality stay
I had booked 2 rooms with king size beds. When we arrived, the rooms were sold out and they gave us smaller rooms with queen. The shower was absolutely filthy with very rough small towels and there were vomit stains on carpet.

A weekend at the Downtown Grand
The Downtown Grand is a nice hotel in the “Old Las Vegas” area a block away from the Freemont Experience. The only issue we had when we checked in was that housekeeping hadn’t thoroughly cleaned the bathtub, but when notified they quickly arrived to re-clean the entire bathroom. All request were promptly responded to. I would recommend this hotel.
