If you’re hungry, you have a huge choice of dining options to choose from. There’s local southern food like fried chicken and waffles, as well as international dishes such as fried noodles and stone-baked pizza. The usual franchise fast-food outlets can be found in both terminals, along with several coffee shops if you need to pick up something in a rush.
High-end shopping options are plentiful, with the likes of Bulgari, Mont Blanc and Salvatore Ferragamo in the international terminal.

There are also several large duty-free shops selling alcohol and cosmetics at reduced prices. If you’re looking for some last-minute souvenirs to take back home, you’ll find several kiosks selling magnets, key rings, candies and cuddly toys.
A free shuttle links the domestic and international terminals if you’re transiting through Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The journey time is around 12 minutes from 1 terminal to the other. Shuttles run 24 hours a day. Do bear in mind that the walk from the shuttle to your concourse can take up to 20 minutes, so plan accordingly.

How to get to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport?
There are several transfer options to take you between Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Atlanta. A taxi takes around 30 minutes to get from Downtown Atlanta to the airport, although you should expect the journey to be considerably longer during rush hour.
A minivan shuttle service operates from the airport and takes you to the city in around 30 minutes. It will drop you at your designated destination.
The MARTA train network features 2 lines – Red and Gold – that link the airport to Atlanta city. The train station is inside the Domestic Terminal. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Downtown Atlanta. It’s the cheapest way to reach the city centre. If you want to hire a car, take the free Sky Train to the Rental Car Centre, located a few minutes away from the airport.
