Ponce City Market is a mixed use development where you'll find several shops, places to eat, and a miniature funfair on the roof. The building itself is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dates back nearly a century.

Everyone can enjoy themselves with a trip to this destination, as it has something for everyone. Kids and adults alike will find plenty to love amongst the shops, restaurants, and games. Most people spend about 2 or 3 hours here, but you could easily spend that much time on the roof alone.

Ponce City Market highlights

One of the most iconic aspects of Ponce City Market is the rooftop area that offers a variety of different games you can enjoy. You'll find games you'd expect to see at the fair with booths and plush animals as prizes. You'll also find a miniature golf course on the roof as well.

Inside the retail area, you'll find a wide variety of shops you can enjoy. Most are clothing stores, but you can visit art supply shops and home goods stores as well. The restaurants are fairly diverse as well and include a coffee bar, a vegan restaurant, Indian, and pastry offerings.

Good to know when visiting Ponce City Market

Before you head to Ponce City Market, keep a few things in mind. Simply entering the building will only grant access to the retail space. If you want to go to the roof, you'll have to buy a special ticket and ride an freight lift up. Additionally, parking here requires a payment, but you can take the bus directly if you prefer.

Visiting this market will put you close to several other attractions in town. The Historic Fourth Ward Park is just a short walk to the south while Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden are about 2.5 miles to the north.
