The landscaping of this property is really what stands out. Things aren't right on top of each other, you have to walk a from area to area through perfectly maintained grounds. We loved how spread out everything is--you really feel like you're in an isolated city. Our favorite touches included the coffee shop, late night live band, and churro cart! Other top experiences included the Don Miguel for craft martinis and pool-side entertainment team! The staff never stop moving, constantly cleaning and making sure everything is perfect. One thing we wish we would have had was a dryer/warmer in the room. Because of the humidity, nothing really dries so bathing suits and wet clothes have to come back in your luggage wet.

Beautiful property in a jungle environment. Resort has many trails to walk along and good restaurants options. Rooms are comfortable and relatively clean. Pool areas and all common areas are exceptionally well kept. Love Don Manuel bar and the cigar lounge. Except for the staff at the buffet, everyone else was very nice and polite. My biggest complaint about the resort is the dress code for all (decent) restaurants, and the fact there are extremely limited options from 4-6PM. Also, extra towels were difficult to get and required 3 calls to get something close to what we requested (only asked for a couple extra hand towels and bath towels, which I didn’t think was out of line).

We had an excellent time on our anniversary trip! The dining options were great, the main pool was a great mix of fun and relaxing and everyone was so nice. Antonio Brito was an amazing bartender and we can’t wait to see him again! Note: this is more of a pool centered resort, not beach since the hurricanes have chained the landscape. Just keep that in mind if you are wanting to stay on the beach

The property at Valentin Imperial is amazing! The lobby area is very grand and smells like heaven. The resort maintained a lot of the pre-existing greenery, especially in the areas surrounding the buildings with rooms. It was absolutely beautiful walking on pathways as if it were in the middle of a jungle. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The poolside entertainment with Israel, Carlos, Adrian, Diana, Joanna, and the team was phenomenal. We loved the team's energy and passion for motivating and entertaining vacationers. Alejandro, our poolside waiter for 2 out of 3 days, was extremely kind and attentive to our needs. Whether we were sitting in a chair or dipped in the pool, his service was very professional and timely. Thank you, Alejandro! The night entertainment at Plaza España was incredible! From the live Imperial Band to the singing Tenors to the live DJ, the nightlife was memorable and did not disappoint. It was nice to have the Sports Bar as an option to watch the MLB playoff games and Don Miguel as an option to have a relaxed conversation. The breakfast and lunch options at the buffet were endless. El Hacienda, the Mexican restaurant, was our favorite for dinner and was most authentic to its cuisine. Fabiola, our waitress at Taman Sari, provided wonderful service and was very attentive throughout the night. Overall, I'm very pleased with my stay at Valentin and would certainly return if I had the opportunity. Thank you, Valentin!

The resort was very nice. Plenty of options & activities for the day and night. A few things i wish were better though. The breakfast buffet lacked the level of service and options that we expected so we had to do the sit down every morning. The wine & champagne included was awful & we had to upgrade to a decent bottle everyday for dinner.
