Another quick visit to London and The Shakespeare. It's ideal for its convenient location, which is close to Paddington Rail & Tube, with nearby choice of food and drink establishments. The room is small but perfectly suitable for a solo one-night stay, with a good shower and comfortable bed, along with helpful staff.

Surprisingly spacious room for the price in central London. Good bars and restaurants in the area but a little spoiled by the rubbish bags and homeless people in the vicinity. Nonetheless I would definitely book again as this isn't the hotels fault.

Good location just around the corner from Paddington station. It’s not the ritz but great for a one night stay after a night out. Yes you do hear the underground sometimes but it’s fine.

Great London base
The hotel is an excellent place to use as a base for London as very close to Paddington station and allows for luggage to be stored before check in and after check out. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable. We did not eat at this hotel so cannot comment on food.

Ok hotel for a night
Was ok for one night.. just be for warned there is no elevator and the stairs are steep, uneven and if you go to the top floor the stair case becomes very narrow.. ok for going up with backpack but very difficult with suitcases. Beds were clean and for the most part comfortable.

You get what you pay for
The hotel is one of the cheaper options, which is good, but you mostly get what you pay for. Hotel is located near Paddington station which was great for transit, and also located close to Hyde part which is a plus. The room was very noisy, with sounds from neighbours, traffic, floor cracks, bathroom ventilation etc. Room service did not exchange our used towels, which we found odd. The receptionist had mastered the art of not giving a .., with support of any kind being, to put it mildly, greatly lacking. Contrary to the receptionist, the breakfast staff were all delightful, friendly and helpful.
