Disappointing
I went tô Excellence Riviera Cancún Douro years ago was perfect, because of it i go tô another Excellence Hotel. Was disappointing. I take the Excellence Club, and do not value the money, the Club smelled bad and there was nothing tô eat with the drinks. Most of the restaurants have a common food. In fact the hotel is much expensive for the things it gives. Exception tô Heidi, that make the beach service and Vilma the manager of foods and drinks

It was disappointing at check in. We paid for an ocean front suite with rooftop pool. At check in we received an ocean view room. After 2 days they had the correct room for us. There was quite a different price difference but we have not be reimbursed! It is Lao a hassle to have to change rooms and wait for one to be ready to go into. Again, I feel we need money/ credit back on the building and room change.

Really stiff, uncomfortable beds which I get a few people like (just not me), but great pillows. Some good, polite people, and some less so. Very clean with a solid beach and facilities. Dinner options were good, but breakfast was lacking in quality and options. Quality of drinks depended on who served you. Location was great as it's not too far from the airport and very close to isla mujeres. The property (in mid Sep) was excellent if you want peace, quiet, and repose. I had an incredible massage at the spa. Private driver round trip to airport cost $200 using hotel service, or you can hire a taxi for $70 round trip if you dont plan on using the driver to get to other paces in cancun.
