Victoria & Albert's at Disney World exemplifies just why Orlando has been gaining attention as one of the top fine-dining destinations in Florida. While the Michelin team haven’t yet included the city in their prestigious guide, Victoria & Albert’s would probably be the first place they’d visit if they did.
This is the sort of restaurant where reservations need to be made weeks in advance, you won’t get in without a dinner jacket, and 6 or more courses from their modern American/French-inspired menu (with wine pairing) will probably set you back the price of a couple of tickets into one of the nearby theme parks for the day.

Fine dining and Disney haven’t always gone hand-in-hand, with restaurants here historically specialising in burgers, fried chicken, ice cream and tacos. Victoria & Albert’s, however, flips this now out-of-date stereotype on its head, offering the polar opposite of the old-school Disney fast food joints.
With 6 courses served over the space of 2 hours, guests are treated to the likes of Masago-crusted Maine scallop, quail with cardamom and sunchokes, veal with black truffles and Sauce Périgord, and onion ash-crusted Niman Ranch lamb. Prices start at $150 per head – which on the face of it seems quite reasonable for what has been dubbed ‘Orlando’s best restaurant’. However, add on extra charges for certain dishes (such as caviar or Kobe beef), as well as wine, tax and service and you could be looking at a bill topping $500 (for 2 people) at the end of the night.
Victoria & Albert’s has long been recognised as one of Florida’s best restaurants, having been consistently awarded the prestigious AAA Five Diamond award. Inevitably, reservations are normally needed in advance, especially as they’re only open for dinner (from 5pm daily). The restaurant is open to all and, being located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, no theme park day passes are needed. Jackets, trousers and closed shoes are a must.
