Cute, cozy capsule hostel!
My daughter and i stayed two nights and had a fabulous time! Cute little “boutique-like” hostel-capsule! Loved the atmosphere and relaxing space. t didn’t matter that the staff spoke limited English, we were able to communicate and everything was easy to understand.

Novel Hostel
I very much enjoyed my stay in this hostel. It's very chilled, and great to come back to after a long day exploring Tokyo and just grab a sofa or hide in you capsule bed and read a book in a nice atmosphere. The staff here are all helpful and friendly, and the beds are comfortable and warm, and I had no issues with noise from the street. It would be nice to have a bit more storage space for larger bags though. It's situated above a Starbucks if you need your western coffee, but they do breakfast there as well. It's less than 5 min walk to the subway, has plenty of restaurants around and shopping districts, as well as near to the Senso-ji shrine which looks fantastic at night.

This place was really close to some hot tourist spots in Tokyo, including the Asakusa Shrine, Ueno Park and Tokyo Skytree, as well as to Asakusa Station, hence, making moving around the metropolis easy. The place also looked quite cool and hipster yet cosy and quiet. There were many books to read, but most of them were in Japanese. They also served good breakfast which was charcoal bread with either avacoda or matcha cream (both were nice). Oh ya, good coffee too. There were only five shower rooms, so, there usually had a bit of waiting time esp during the peak hour in the morning. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and the shower was quite powerful. Overall, it was a nice stay. And I highly recommend it.

Great location and property. Love the concept. Very clean as well. The customer service from one staff member was not good at all. We arrived by 2pm from the airport and just wanted to use the bathroom and leave until we were allowed to check in. Firstly she refused and then she said ok. While we were freshing up she came to us say if we don’t leave now she will charge us 590 yen for staying in the property for 15mins. I was shocked so we left quickly.

What a cool place to stay - it is incredibly well designed, and attention is paid to the important details, for example great coffee, music, books, and toiletries. Great atmosphere, very well run. The staff are fabulous, super friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. All in all I was delighted - it is what it is as a capsule hotel, however for what it is, it's superb. Oh - and the location is brilliant, just a minute or two away from the Ginza and Asakasa lines, and in one of the most interesting parts of Tokyo.

Great location and concept
The concept of the hotel is great, a lot of interesting books to choose from (less so if you dont read Japanese). The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldnt be any better. Right near Kaminarimon and Sensōji, and easy to get around Tokyo as Asakusa station is right nearby.

Very chill and relaxing space. Extremely quite. Comes with the "library" theme I suppose. It was nice to just plop down on the cushions and read and sip coffee before heading out...same after coming back from wandering the city. The staff were friendly, and many spoke fluent English. The only con I would say is that if you're unused to futons, you may find them uncomfortable.

Comfy Concept Capsule
Wonderful concept for book lovers, nice style execution as well. They had a good variety of books for Japanese and US English readers. I especially appreciate the translated books. If you need Wifi, they have that too. The music added to a nice, chill atmosphere, and it is good that they had blankets for the common area. The capsules were pleasant and warm. Everything looked clean. It wasn't noisy, but it's nice that they offer ear plugs as well. I didn't try anything from the cafe so I can't comment. The location is good as well - very close to Sensoji/Asakusa Kannon, a train station, and a lot of shopping and food. It wasn't all tourist-centric shops either; there were options for places not overly geared towards tourists. My only wish is that both sides had books (see photo). As it is now, only one side has them. I will definitely come again.

I stayed here for the week. I had missed my flight on Saturday from Seoul to Tokyo and couldn't come. I arrived to Asakusa Sunday night and told the staff my entire situation and they were so accommodating and understanding. They refunded me from Saturday and let me keep my current booking. The staff were very welcoming whenever I'd arrive and leave. They're open 24 hours, so that's good if you're a night owl and want to explore when things have quieted down at night. Before you enter the hostel, you have to open a door that feels like a hidden door into another world! And there's books--EVERYWHERE! It's like sleeping in a library! The beds are very comfortable and I slept soundly. Though the capsules are a bit warm since there isn't any A/C inside of them. So bring a small room fan you can easily plug in inside of your capsule. The tenants were also considerate noise-wise but still bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, like myself. It works wonders. There's no storage space to lock important things in, so be aware of that. Though it's Japan, so no one will bother your things. The location of the hostel is super convenient as you're just a walk away from Asakusa Temple, Asakusa Station, and Sky Tree. There's lots of places to eat that are foreign friendly. I recommend Ichiban Ramen. It's popular and near the hostel. It's a budget friendly hostel, so I recommend booking. :)
