Do not expect much for the price you are paying
I left the hotel completely disappointed. Paid 700 pounds for a night stay and the minimum you expect is great service. The room didn’t have hot water, no proper shower. Requested the outside hot tube to be cleaned at 16:30hrs (since was full of leaves) and after chasing the hotel many times, they send someone close to 22hrs when it was too late to experience the hot tube outside. The hotel offered misleading information about taxi prices, be aware, they charge an extortion for taxi fees, you can get better prices on the app InRide. Staff asks for tips every single time they do the slightest thing, even for preparing a drink behind a bar, it is not worth it the price you pay, I would definitely not recommend it. I left upset for not being able to experience the room fully.

I found the place massively disappointing, service was awful, standard rooms are very dated now and need a refresh and we couldn’t even check in until 5pm but yet they send me several messages on check out day to ensure I was out by 11am even after saying I wanted an extra hour due to the 2 hour delay at check in! No lighting is an issue, means the girls can’t do their makeup and to be honest it’s just dangerous as you can’t see a think, I even knocked a candle over as they are not secured to anything and as the entire place is wood that’s not ideal. The prices are ridiculous, Kin Toh cheapest main course is £60 and I’ve had a better pasta in Wetherspoons! Overall I was just very disappointed which was a huge shame, visit the museum or bar for your Insta pics but don’t stay here or eat here

Mosquitoes in the room made life tough. No wifi made it difficult to communicate with staff for anything. Towels smell of spa oils. Not many options for dining. Overall experience was below expectations though staff is very helpful.

Azulik Tulum is a beautiful hotel, perfect for taking pictures. However, that's about it. The room was dirty and had stains on the curtains! It's a place to visit for a short while, snap some photos, and that's it. The waitstaff at the restaurants were very nice, but the beach area is small, and the water was full of seaweed and murky. Additionally, the hotel's location is not great, as it's not close to other beach clubs and restaurants. It's simply not worth staying overnight at this hotel. Make sure to read the reviews carefully before deciding to book.

É lindo e famoso, mas nao vale o investimento
Quarto Maravilhoso, espaçoso, sacada vista ao mar! Cama maravilhosa! Mas quando chegamos a banheira e as fronhas estavam sujas e a peça que fecha a banheira, estava estragada. Tivemos que chamar a manutençao e esperar eles arrumarem enquanto estávamos no quarto. Logo que chegamos tinhamos companhia no nosso quarto lindo e caro: time da manutençao e da limpeza. Ou seja, pelo status oferecido, eles poderiam ter cuidado de checar antes do cliente entrar! Choveu e chovia na nossa cama. O atendimento do nosso anjo, com a apresentaçao do hotel foi muito boa, a aula de ioga também. Mas nao tivemos nosso ritual de boas vindas, a equipe estava almoçando, bem na hora que é permitida a entrada no hotel. Nossos minutos eram contatos no hotel, mas os minutos que perdemos nao nos foram oferecidos de volta. Detalhes que nos fizeram sentir mais um... apenas mais um, pagou, viveu, tchau e próximo! Nao se preocuparam com qual experiÊncia estávamos vivendo ali. O café da manha que pagamos junto com a acomodação nao vale nunca a pena por conta do que é servido e nem a experiência. (Tem muitos lugares de altissimo nível que servem comidas bem melhores, com um atendimento maravilhoso) Atendimento do restaurante kintoh é bem ruim, as pessoas não foram simpáticas, e para começar o dia, é tão importante ganhar um sorriso, nao é mesmo?

Very pretty and natural looking hotel. Just be aware - they told us the sunset experience is included since we are staying. We went to the experience and they said any drink is included in the experience so we selected one. They made us pay for the drink saying it's not included so just be aware of hidden costs.
