"Oriental Jade was a really good choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had to extend our trip by another night and they managed to fit us in the same room – no problems. The bathroom had a few stray hairs on the floor. Apart from this, the property was fantastic and would have given 5/5 stars."

"Amazing location, just a few steps to Hoan Kiem lake. Everything is just around, very close to the hotel: night market, convenient stores, banks, souvenir shops, restaurants. The hotel is located in the busy street but quiet enough at night for a good sleep. We liked it a lot! We both had a room with balcony, absolutely beautiful and perfect, compared with other hotels in the Old Quarter. The room was so clean and tidy, beautiful decor. They made up the room every day. The laundry service is so cheap. There is a lift in the hotel as well! All staffs were very friendly and helpful, we quite trusted them. Especially big thanks to Ms Jennie, she did a very great job. She and her team made us feel the hotel just like our home. We could leave our luggage at the hotel during the days when we went away, that was absolutely excellent. We have stayed at many hotels in Hanoi (mainly in this area) and Royal Palace is the best. "

"The staff was very helpful. They even arranged breakfast for us to take with us when we took an early bus to our next destination, without us asking! The room was good and comfortable; the location was nice too. Even though it was right in the middle of old Hanoi, on the 7th floor you could barely hear the noise."
