Amazing Historical Hotel
The history at this hotel is amazing. They have done a great job of maintaining the beauty of this hotel established in 1937. The staff was so nice and very informative about the hotel and the area.

Fair 4.0
The walls were so thin you could hear the people next door burp! It was disgusting. They argued and we could hear everything all night. You could even hear the people use the restroom next door. The bed was very uncomfortable, there was no air circulating in the room, the thermostat didn’t seem to work. We will never stay there again.

Open or closed???
Upon arrival we were told the hotel was closed for carpet cleaning and they don’t know how we got a reservation, but they would take us and one other person was in the hotel. It was very creepy and unsafe. We walked into the room to check it out anyway, and the wood door was old and thin and had a chain lock on it that was probably 50 to 60 years old. I could’ve pushed it down myself. The odor from the carpet cleaner permeated the entire hotel on top of the old musty smell. This place is beautiful from the outside and needs to be rehabbed badly. We should have never been allowed to make a reservation there if the hotel was closed. We left and ended up staying at a courtyard Marriott. We would like a full refund. We would appreciate an expedited reply and refund -thank you.

It was very clean and historic! The beds were uncomfortable and we were disappointed with no microwave or fridge in the rooms... but it was nice and staff was very friendly.

This hotel is beautiful. It’s like stepping back in time and it’s right in the middle of everything. I especially loved sitting on the private balcony at night.
