No privacy
No privacy curtain and told not to put one up. Dirty overall feeling. Dirty dishes left in tv room area along with clothes basket. I felt i was in a male dorm room. Being a woman I did not take a shower due to wooden door slutter slots spaced a part far enough a person can see looking into the shower.

Affordable price,
I arrived late at night but self check in was allowed for the ones who arrive later than 11pm. A bed was comfortable. Shower and toilet were kept clean. Also staff was friendly. I only stayed here for a night but I am willing to visit you when i visit LA again.

I checked in, but after the staff showed me my bunk I was highly irritated by the condition of the entire space. The pillows were very dirty with stains, and they didn't see to it that they were replaced for guest's health. I complained, but he seemed unbothered. The sinks were old and nasty.
I ended up leaving immediately after that. I couldn't sleep in such a place. Waste of money; hopefully I can get a refund.

First time staying in a dorm-like atmosphere and enjoyed it. Bed was much comfortable than in hotels 2-3 times more expensive.

Good for a night
First impressions weren’t great as we didn’t receive an email on how to find the entrance despite informing them of our arrival time. When we did check in, lots of sirens went past so we weren’t hopeful. However the beds were comfy and big and the other guests were pretty quiet, quiet time was 10pm-10am but it was quiet the majority of the time. Bathrooms were very small but clean and the showers were lovely. Probably wouldn’t want to stay longer than a night due to lack of privacy and safe storage

No privacy. Entrances are locked with pins and we had to wait outside for an hour till the front desk guy came in to help us out. The living area couch is dirty. No dedicated dining areas. It is 26min walk to downtown.

The staff is co-operative and helpful. We checked-in after the staff's operating hours but they ensured that we had a smooth check-in by being in touch with us before-hand.

The bathroom is too tiny. But the bed is big and comfortable. And the location is good. Cuz u can walking 6 mins to A little Tokyo. It’s just the price is high for Hostel but other things are barely ok. One night sleep is ok. 2 to 7 nights is too much : Not worthy.

My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights while we were visiting LA. Overall, it was a good experience. The pod design is cozy and nice, the bed was very comfy. One of our favorite things was the quiet time from 10 pm to 10 am, which is actually enforced. Thanks to that rule, we were able to sleep well. The only big downside is that the shower stalls are gross and have mold growing in them, and that the outlets in the pods are totally worn out so anything you plug into them just slips right out.
