This is a pretty busy area so be prepared for traffic, but as long as you know how to drive youre good. And plenty of amazing food choices and entertainment options for not having to deal with LA traffic.

From where I went, it was a generally clean and easily navigated part of the L.A. area. It was only 15 minutes from Universal Studios. If you're hungry, go to Porto's! EXCELLENT food.
"We loved our stay here! A beautiful hotel, clean and a great place to escape the heat outside and have a cool drink in the bar or by the iconic outdoor pool area.
Our room had been refurbished with modern touches. Our bed’s and pillows were really comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel is on Hollywood Boulevard so you can step out onto the stars.
Great location for many food options and shopping.
We would happily book a stay here again. "

"This place was perfect for the night before an early AM flight. Located right next to LAX (we could see the runways and planes taking off/landing) it was surprisingly quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room itself was a but dated, and the bathroom a little old, but it was clean and the beds were really comfortable. Room service was quick and thefl food was tasty. Shuttle service was prompt and easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again."
