Far from 3 star quality service
Lots of scuff marks on the wall, tears in the wallpaper (particularly bad by the window). The room was tiny, the space of a hand between the bed and the wall, luckily I was alone so I didn't use that side of the bed but I can't imagine how a couple can easily manage that. The bathroom was also very small. It was impossible to keep my hair dry in the shower cause there was not space. The toilet roll holder was barely attached to the wall, as shown in the photo, so much so that the cleaner didn't even bother to put the toilet roll on the holder. The toilet also didn't flush properly. It would take multiple flushes to get rid of just toilet paper. The restaurant was very unprofessional. the lady to receive the breakfast vouchers was not around and I had to find someone to give it to. The breakfast was limited. One morning there were no rolls, the next morning there was. Everything was self service. The hotels.com also advertised €13 less than what I had to pay. The bus stop from the airport is a far way to walk with suitcases and the shuttle advertised on the website was not operational, I understand it's Corona but that should have been advertised. The restaurant staff was friendly but the hotel staff were unfriendly and cold.

Bed bugs everywhere. When rude staff was notified about bedbugs the desk worker just shrugged his shoulders and said you have to complain to Expedia because you booked your flight through Expedia, and we were like OK what about the bed bugs crawling all over bodies and biting us and he just shrugged and said there’s nothing he can do about it.

Hotel is very convenient if driving to Amsterdam as they have the Matterhorn tram stop a 5 minute walk away and a very spacious car park which is free! In a beautiful quiet area of osdorp meaning everything is within reach

Good out of city hotel, ideal for airport/business
Me and my partner only stayed for one night as it was close enough to Amsterdam to drive into for work. I would not reccomend this hotel if you are planning to visit Amsterdam daily, but it is very handy for the airport or if you drive. When we arrived the main reception was inviting and modern, although a distinct smell of Chinese food (this was there constantly) there was two receptionists waiting and one rather uninviting looking man hovering over them. The lady who checked us in was a bit grumpy and the check in process took longer than expected, but she did provide us with all the information we needed and upgraded our room free of charge. Wifi also provided and worked well. The bedroom was very small with a huge King sized bed squeezed in, the bathroom was very modern, clean, and had plenty of towels. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the sheets were clean. There was a big tv mounted to the wall, but unless you spoke Dutch it wasn't worth having on. We was surprised that there was only one bedside table, having one on each side would have been more convenient and there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which was rather dissapointing. I don't expect much from budget hotels but I feel these things are rather basic inclusives. It states on their website that the rooms are soundproof, this is not the case. We were able to here people returning to their rooms, snoring and listening to TV. Very frustrating. But didn't affect my sleep too much.
