4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Mumbai

Visitors can enjoy the majestic temples, indulge in vibrant shopping districts, savour the local café scene, experience the bustling business hubs, and take in the beauty of the city's gardens and natural surroundings. Additionally, excursions to the sea, a visit to the zoo, and delightful dining experiences provide great value for money, ensuring a memorable and affordable trip.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a selection of hotel deals for Mumbai, where you may discover attractive promotions. Visit the DealsOpens in a new window section to explore discounted rates and check out the Last-Minute Deals for options that could suit your travel dates. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app lets travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you stay informed about any shifts in availability or drops in rates.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Mumbai hotel. For those in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could assist you in finding a more appealing rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre typically tend to be more expensive; however, with Mumbai's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that remains well-connected. For those seeking to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
